Hi,

Is it possible to use the scheduler to book multiple resources in one go?
I looked at the demo and I only see that one resource can be booked.
This might be OK if the resources are rooms.

But in the case you have rooms, different kind of beamers, whiteboards etc as resources, I would like to book multiple resources at once, like Room 3.01 with a widescreen beamer and a whiteboard.

Anybody tried this out already?

I've replaced the event DurationBarImageUrl with a custom image that is deeper than than normal. Is it possible to increase the height of the active 'drag handle' for an event area so that it consistent with the height of my image?

I'm trying to create a small and a bigger column for each day in calendar, and I see that the property WidthPct is deprecated. And I didn't find how to do it with css. Have anybody an idea?

Steps to reproduce:

Create a DayPilot Calnedar control and set the HeaderDateFormat using the line:

HeaderDateFormat="dd-MM-yyyy"

View the calendar and the headers no longer align with the columns.

Change the command to:

HeaderDateFormat="dd/MM/yyyy"

and the headers and columns align correctly.

Has there been an update to this? I know this post is two years old and we're hoping so! What we are trying to accomplish is a schema where alternative rows (weeks) have different styles applied.

IE has problems with processing the image returned from a PostBack.

The workaround is to add the following header to the response:

Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment;filename=print.png");

This will force an external handling of the image - that might be either download or opening in an image viewer, depending on user browser settings.

In Windows XP, Vista, and 7, there is a default image viewer installed. It can be opened directly from the browser and allows image printing.

Another option would be to redirect the user to a special printing page using a <a href="Print.aspx?yourParams">Print</a> link, or using Response.Redirect() call in the Button.Click handler. That page would use the printing code right in Page_Load().

My export button was in an UpdatePanel and thus not doing a full postback. This line in the PageLoad fixes the issue:

ScriptManager.GetCurrent(this).RegisterPostBackControl(btnExport);

Any advice or sample code on how to successfully use the new Export() method for DayPilotMonth? I am getting the error:

Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled.
Details: Error parsing near 'PNG
'.

Here is my code:

I have tried a number of different image formats, and also played with different charsets and encodings on the Response, but the error persists. I have been unable to find any examples for the DayPilotMonth.Export method.

hello,

whenever iput both calendar and scheduler on one page there is no bubble shown on the calendar control, but it is shown on the scheduler control. when i remove the scheduler control from markup the calendar shows the bubbles perfectly without changing any property (so the setup schould be done correctly)...

the strange thing is that switching the controls in markup and injs load order has no effect... it always suppresses the calendars bubble...

is there anything i can do?

environment in use:
DayPilot 6.0.2078.0
Coolite (Ext-Js) 0.8

I use several buttons to jump to predefined dates in calendar. This can be done using dpc1.commandCallBack('command', date);. Unfortunately, the Navigator does not reflect the changes in calendar. How can I set startDate and selectionStart in Navigator (on client side or from the commandCallBack in code behind)?

I tried the following (javascript):

dpn1.startDate = new Date();
dpn1.selectionStart = new Date();
dpn1.updateSelection();

This doesn't work. May be I'm completely wrong.
Also i could not find any documentation on the navigator client side api.

Any hints on this?

Is it possible to update the busy days in Navigator on insertion / deletion of events?
After inserting few events in Calendar, the Navigator does not reflect this changes...

I tried calling 'DayPilotNavigator1.DataBind();' from codebehind, but this does not
work. Or do I need a full postback (instead of a callback) to get this working?

Hi, I am having the similar problem with Ajax. It seems to work when switch to <div>tag instead of using <span>. I am wondering what could be the problem and how to fix it on the Ajax side. Wondering if you had found a solution.

Is there a way of modifying text inside the cells rather than displaying "Event Name (11:00 AM - 8/25/2010 5:00 PM)"? Without the ability to modify this, it is not possible to handle International Date/time format (Example:11:00 AM - 25-Aug-2010 5:00 PM).
