do you have a tentative timeline to support days on the vertical axis along with resources in the columns

There is no specific plan at this moment.
This view is nice but it also means a completely new control (DayPilotCalendar works differently and there are already too many options - day/week view, resources view, day/resources combination; the rendering will need to be optimized a lot).
As soon as the plan becomes more realistic, I will add it to the
roadmap.
