Is it possible to display text in cells (BeforeCellRender)

With the BeforeCellRender, ican customize the backbround color of the cells.

But how can a put some text in the cell, to indicate the locationof business hour ?

This is not yet possible, but it's planned for the next release (6.3).

Its been over a year and we are now at v6.7.
I can't find any solution to the problem above in the newest version.
