Navigator does not have DataRecurrenceField and so it does not highlight recurrent events.

Oh, yes. It should be available in the 6.5 release.

It seems to me the issue is not fixed (http://www.daypilot.org/demo/Calendar/RecurrentEvents.aspx)
Could you please recheck that fix is included in the 6.5 release?

This didn't make it into the 6.5 release but it's a priority for the 6.6 release (scheduled for September 30, 2011):
