Android tap on event triggering time range selected in month Daypilot.Month view

IOS works fine however taping on an existing event in the Daypilot Month view using an android devices is also causing the onTimeRangeSelected to be fired shortly afterwards.

Also the month view is part of a jquerymobile page that does a horizontal slide transition on event click. the new timerangeselected event appears to fire on cells to the right of the selected event. I beleive this may be some delayed event for touch devices causing the problem.
