How to move/scroll (horizontally) using drag in scheduler

Instead of creating a new event (triggered by OnTimeRangeSelected(...)) is there any way to scroll or move the area of scheduler horizontally? Without moving the mouse into the left or right border of scheduler.
I mean, drag on empty area (no event) will scroll or move the scheduler horizontally.

This behavior is only supported on touch devices. Dragging in the grid will scroll the area. In order to start selecting a time range you need to hold the finger for a while.
