How do you know when a single occurrence has been 'rescheduled'?

We are using the RecurrenceExpander to go through events to show whether openings on our calendar are 'booked' or not. Using the RecurrenceExpander seems to work well EXCEPT when one of the recurring occurrences is reschedule.

When expanding we still get the information and it looks no different than ones that were not 'rescheduled'. So my question is how do we know if this occurence was moved or rescheduled?
