Can we have Recurring Event Functionality.
At this moment only if you supply the individual occurrences to DayPilot (DataSource). That means all the logic is up to you.
However, there will be a tutorial coming soon on recurring events.

Recurrence support was introduced in 6.0 release for the Calendar, in 6.3 for the Month and Scheduler controls and in 6.6 for the Navigator.
