Showing a 'loading..' animation or text in modal window

My aspx page is loaded by the modal.ShowUrl() function.
Because it needs some seconds to load, an white empty window is showing meanwhile.
To inform the user that something is going on, I like to display a loading message in the empty aera.
How can I implement this?

It lets you specify the HTML that will be displayed in the modal window before the target URL loads.
