The .net Calendar Not Updating DayPilotCalendar?

I am attempting to get a basic calendar up and running Everything seems to be working with the exception of the .NET Calender NOT being able to change the date of the DayPilotCalendar. I followed the dayPilotLite SQLServer tutorial instruction.
However, when you choose a date from the .NET calendar control, the DayPilotCalendar simply disappears. Both calendars are in their own UpdatePanels I suspect that the update panels are not getting along?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
