How to delete event in DayPilot Lite Calendar

Hello, can you tell me how can I delete an event in the Calendar for DayPilot Lite version?
I thinked to remove it opening a popup window clicking on the event and adding a delete button that call a stored procedure to remove the event from database but after that I need to refresh the calendar to remove it from view, how can I do that?
Do you have others solution?
