Multi select events on multiple resources at once

Is it possible to click and drag across events and resources with a single click and drag move? I see we can drag if it stays on a single resource, but we need to create events for multiple resources at the same time.

I also see we can hold CTRL to select multiple cells, but it's resource by resource.
