We as a company would like to have a smooth moving of the event, with thr event not being stuck in the drag in the grid. Something like an actual drag and drop of an event

If you mean the option to turn off 'snap to grid' (as in the Scheduler), this feature is planned and will be introduced in one of the future releases.
