inconsistent behavior with touch events

I am having some issues with the grid’s event onEventClick event, when trying to capture a touch on an event. It seems to be triggering twice as both a click and a touch. It doesn’t seem to be consistent but it does happen enough that it’s causing issues. It doesn’t seem like prevent defaults is working either in the onEventClick().

is this something that has been reported before? Is there anything that could be done to prevent this?

Could you please specify:

your device
browser
DayPilot version
component (Calendar, Scheduler…)

The event click is handled using touchstart and the default click handler is canceled because exactly this can sometimes happen (the click event fires unreliably on touch devices).

I’m using google chrome, simulating a mobile device. Version is 2022.1.5242. it is the scheduler component.

Thanks for the update. This issue should be fixed already (since 2024.2.5936).

If the problem persists with the latest version, please let me know.
