Formatting Hours Display in Calendar

Is there an event to hook in to format the left-sided time column cells?

I was hoping to change the innerHTML when the left-most cell, containing the time is rendered!

I need to change the 24-hour format from [1 oo ] to a simple [ 1 ] - just stripping away the minutes, just showing hours.
I need this because I do not show actual TIMES but an ordered sequence of TIME-SLOTS (from slot 1 to 11) so the 00-minutes do not make sense.
