autoScroll = "Always" for horizontal scroll only

I'm guessing this will not be possible, but is there a way to have the autoScroll always feature only for horizontal scrolling (but for both horizontal and vertical when dragging).

It's a great feature, but we have some UI widgets below the scheduler so whnever the user moves their mouse to interact with them it scrolls down slightly.
