How to Start calendar days time on the half hour with 1 hour appointments

I was wondering if anyone has started a calendar day on the half hour with 1 hour appointments. For Example I want to start the opening times at 8:30 but each available appointment time is an hour. This means the next appointment time is 9:30.

Currently we have appointments working correctly when the start of the calendar day is on the hour, just need to figure out the above.

Any help on how this can be accomplished would be appriciated. thx
