How to set the width of an event indicator

Dear, In a calendar I use CSS background color of the cells to indicate opening and closing times: once an event has been created, it covers the entire cell: is it possible to change the width property of the event, in order to leave the calendar cells more visible? Thks very much

You can increase the margin on the right side of a calendar column using "columnMarginRight" property:

By default it uses 5 pixels.
